Maritime Career
What started as a passion for fishing as a young boy turned into an ongoing love of the ocean. In addition to recreational fishing, diving, and boating, Kent started a formal education in the maritime industry in 1999. Over 8 years, Kent has obtained various licenses and certifications and expects to continue building on this knowledge base in the years to come.
Maritime Experience
- 1999 - Got started on motor yachts. Worked on a 136′ Christianson and a 93′ Broward Sportsfisherman
- 2003 - Commercial Vessel. 120′ gas turbine swath,HS ferry. Part of the team that prepared the Cloud 10 for its first passenger cruise. First vessel of its kind to ferry passengers from Port of Palm Beach to Bahamas.
- 2005 - Commercial vessel. 122′ Oceangoing tug. Penn Maritime assigned to the Tug Dolphin , transporting petrol products up and down coast of North America and the Gulf.
